@berlindaang: Thank you. We don't see it here in New Jersey very often either. There was a late season tropical storm moving up the coast, and these were cloud bands from the storm. It was an incredible site!

Wow!... what a wonderful shot, Betty! I was out of town and away from Am3 over new years, which is why I missed seeing/commenting on your super shot on the day you posted it. I'd be interested to know if that sunset evolved into more of a red phase later on, as they often do. Thanks for sharing!!
