@Lorraine: To make your dream even more impossible, it was 117 degrees that day in Phoenix! (But it's a dry heat.)

117 degrees? Yikes! I was there a loooong time ago in the summer but I think we were lucky or my memory is failing, I don't remember it being that hot...like you say it's a dry heat...but it's still hot!

Lovely place though. I guess AC is a real blessing there.

@Laurie: Yes, 117. And we were the only crazy people walking around the garden! What I liked about the dry heat was that without the humidity, at least you weren't always drenched with sweat, it evaporated! When I first felt that heat, it was like stepping into an oven!

Ah, I was going to say this dosn't look like the Jersey I remember. Nice color and you were able to capture that little bit of shade that is so limited.
