I like the composition and the earthy colors also the drama of the flooding makes for an exciting image!

@Michael Skorulski: Thank you, Michael.
It's beautiful Betty, I jus thope it doesn't cause too much damage...:)

@Lorraine: Thanks, Lorraine. The moderate flooding we've had so far this year hasn't really caused a lot of damage. Although, I noticed today that Belvidere has a few home that still have pumps running from their basements.
Wonderful Betty! Be careful!

@Craig: Thank you, Craig.
I was just about to say ‘running high’ when I scrolled to your Title . . that water looks very unforgiving. You take care, now.

@Ronnie 2¢: I was very careful, thanks.
great light, great photo

@Teresa Durães: Thank you, Teresa. It was one of the few really sunny days we had this winter.
very dramatic to capture this - the bridge really shows how high the water is.

@Chris: Thanks, Chris. That's what caught my eye when I saw the bridge.
Good composition and not only a flood of water, but also a flood of light. After a long dark winter we deserve the light, but with all the snow we got this season we might have too much water...

@vu@granby - Wolfgang: Thank you, Wolfgang. This winter was especially long and dark. We never had two sunny days in a row, and the sun was never out a full day! We didn't get all the snow the way you did, but a lot of rain in March.
A common sight here in NJ! Floods are such a problem for so many here.
You captured the fury of the river well. Hopefully there was no serious damage.

@Laurie: Isn't that the case here, anymore? The slightest bit of rain and we're flooding again! This particular river flooded only moderately. It empties into the Delaware River, and that ran really high, but there was no damage. Just a few flooded basements and roads closed.
It is that time of year shots turn away from snow and toward the floods. Very dramatic with the roiling water.

@Suzanne Labbé: Thank you, Suzanne.
That's pretty high alright... I like the way you caught the sun striking everything.
