Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaA neat capture. I like the textures in the tree very much! 4 Apr 2008 5:57am @Michael Skorulski: Thank you, Michael. @Ana Lúcia: Thank you. Ben Youd from Newcastle-Under-Lyme, United KingdomThe focussing on this one is stunning! 4 Apr 2008 8:05am @Ben Youd: Thank you very much. @Craig: Thank you, Craig. @Teresa Durães: Thank you, Teresa. @MJ: Thanks, MJ. One of my favorites, also. I found this one by its tapping! Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaVery sharp shot. I love birds but can never get a decent shot. 4 Apr 2008 4:25pm @Michael Rawluk: It's very difficult. Most of my are luck... Tracey from Baltimore, United StatesGreat wildlife capture. I had the luck of having a woodpecker nest in one of my trees last year. It was neat seeing the fledglings leave the nest and fly for the first time. Unfortunately the nest was so high I couldn't get a good perspective on it for a shot. 4 Apr 2008 4:42pm @Tracey: I've never seen them nesting, that would be great. But they always come to my apple tree, sometime two or three different kinds at a time. This one was in a tree up at my father's. @Mike: Thank you, Mike. standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceBeautiful capture. I love the wood's texture! 4 Apr 2008 8:21pm @standley: Thank you, Standley. vu@granby - Wolfgang from Granby, Quebec, CanadaI'm hoping for the great light of spring to arrive soon here.... Good shot with exceptional clarity! 4 Apr 2008 8:56pm @vu@granby - Wolfgang: Thank you, Wolfgang. I wish you spring very soon. Chris from South Jersey, United StatesA nice capture - we have had woodpeckers in our back yard as well (they like our Walnut tree). In fact, one year we had the same woodpecker come back again and again until our dog killed it (my wife was so mad at our dog!!). Anyway, my wife was a bit upset and prayed to God to bring us another woodpecker and a few weeks later we had another in the same tree! They are amazing creatures. 4 Apr 2008 11:02pm @Chris: Sorry about the woodpecker... Thank you for your comment. Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesI'm impressed with the photographer naturally but also with the camera as I've considered this one at some future time... how do you like it? 5 Apr 2008 12:05pm @Earnest: This is my first digital SLR, I love it. Feels good in my hands. I really like that I can change settings on it without accessing the menus! Konica Minolta discontinued it's camera division in 2006, and there is no support for the software. Sony took over their camera line. |
