Now It's Spring!

This groundhog is living in my yard. I watched her gather leaves in her mouth and disappear into her hole... another crop of babies!

@Michael Rawluk: It is very nice to have wildlife in my back yard! We have... turtles, deer, wild turkeys, black bear, groundhogs, squirrels, chipmunks. I should try to document them all and post the photos. Especially the black bear!

@Observing: Thank you. A groundhog is a large plant-eating rodent that lives in the ground. If they burrow close to a buidling, they can do a lot of damage. They are really a nuisance, and destroy vegetable gardens!
