Love how the one bear cub is standing on "tippy toes" to reach the bird feeder!

I guess maybe the people who keep feeding the birds and deer are sort of enjoying the bear attention they get. Thank God these are not grizzlies.

We have a huge bear problem where I live. They wander in looking for bird feeders, trash. Anything. In the fall, the fruit trees are a real banquet.

cute and cool shot! Animals always make these interesting shots but this one is so rare bcoz pups n kitties are one thing bt to capture bears in camera shots n that too in such a cute gesture amazing!!!

@Desparado: Even though the bears are in our area, that doesn't mean that you get to see them for a photo op! I was lucky it was a Saturday and we found out that they were there... and that they posed for us!

@Barbara: I was amazed to see that the one stood on tippy toes! They do not give up, I've seen large ones crunch up an entire feeder like it was candy!

I had no idea there were bears in New Jersey. What a capture. I love the contrast between something you certainly don't see everyday and the dandelions in the grass which are so common anywhere.
