Betty: This is a lovely photo! Everything about it seems to work. The composition is perfect. I like the fully open flowers and the buds, as well as the branches. The selective focus causes the eye to see the flowers in front and provides lovely colors in the background. The exposure is just right. The white is white. Very well done!

Beautiful colors and nice DoF. I don't know if it is my monitor, but the flowers seem a little out of focus (maybe the long lens?). It is nice to have all this color to photograph now!!

@Bill Ault: Thanks, Bill. Our blossoms got hit by frost yesterday morning... went down to 32! We had a frost advisory for this morning, but I don't think it got that cold. Last week I was sleeping wtih the window open... go figure!
