Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaLet's see, checking their lice, feeding, swimming and let's not forget the pooping. They are beautiful to look at, but they sure make a mess. Great shot Betty. 5 May 2008 6:09am @Marion: Thank you so much, Marion... your comment made my day! :-) @Gary: Usually they are out on the water, not so many right on the shore doing their thing! Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesI like that one goose (right) that appears to be looking at his reflection! 5 May 2008 9:32am @Craig: You're right, Craig! I wonder what it's looking at? I didn't notice that one until you mentioned it! Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaTheir world, their pace, gorgeous, wonderful photographer :) 5 May 2008 10:14am @Lorraine: I'll go with "wonderful"!!! :-) António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalA simple landscape scene but the image it's not so simple. The diagonal lines, the distribution of geese along those lines, make the image very attractive. The small waves give texture to the water. It's a scene that invites to sit down and enjoy and not to stop, shoot and go. 5 May 2008 10:24am @António Pires: Thank you so much, Antonio! @Michael Skorulski: Thank you, Michael. njsux from Shrewsbury, NJ, United StatesVery eye-catching - I've been looking at this for five minutes trying to see everything that's going on. 5 May 2008 3:13pm @njsux: Thank you! Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesI guess mostly leaving goose droppings, eh? 5 May 2008 3:56pm @Viewfinder: They sure do that! Can you image when all those snow geese are on the water... AND the Canadian geese? It's amazing the water is clear! Observing from Chester, United KingdomWhat a great wildlife shot, and those geese look really happy there, compliments :) 5 May 2008 4:07pm @Observing: Thank you! Ronnie 2¢ from London, United Kingdom. . . and these geese are very successful at it! 5 May 2008 4:18pm @Ronnie 2¢: They are! It's almost like... guess what each goose is doing! @Alun Lambert: Thank you. @vu@granby - Wolfgang: So do I! :-) Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesHa, ha... love the caption and excellent, clear photo. 5 May 2008 9:24pm @Earnest: Thank you, Earnest! @Will: Thanks, Will! @Masoud: Thank you. |
