@Craig: Thanks, Craig. @Viewfinder: Don't you just love the beautiful green of this spring? @eddy: Thank you, Eddy. @Betsy Barron: Thanks. Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesSorry I didn't get to check yesterday, but I've seen them both now ... and love this one that allows a little more of a feeling for the area. 7 May 2008 10:54am @Judy: It shows the tops of the pine trees. It was a striking scene! Michael Skorulski from Cigel, Hong KongAn excellent image of the new trees growing. 7 May 2008 11:14am @Michael Skorulski: Thank you, Michael. Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesThe contrast in green between the under-story trees and the canopy is most interesting. Still can't get over the amazing straightness of the pines (if that's what they are). 7 May 2008 12:10pm @Earnest: I think they are pines, I wonder what it will look like in the fall? Observing from Chester, United KingdomLovely woodlands, it's good to be close to nature. I have a few trees coming up in a few days. 7 May 2008 12:55pm @Observing: The whole preserve is lovely... it's my favorite place. Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaA beautiful shot Betty. I too like this one the best because it really shows the little pines coming up between the taller trees. I wonder what it will look like 10 or 15 years from now. Great contrast in colors. 7 May 2008 2:05pm @Marion: Thank you, Marion. Peter Miller from Lichfield, United KingdomThese look like daddy and mommy trees tending their young lol 7 May 2008 2:31pm @Peter Miller: It does, Peter! :-) vu@granby - Wolfgang from Granby, Québec, CanadaI agree with Earnest about the contrast... 7 May 2008 5:03pm @vu@granby - Wolfgang: I agree with Earnest, also... thank you. standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceThis is gorgeous. I love the fresh green! 7 May 2008 8:39pm @standley: Thank you, Standley. standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceThis is gorgeous. I love the fresh green! 7 May 2008 9:02pm Chris from United StatesAnother wonderful view of a pretty area (at least it looks that way from all your pictures there). I liked yesterday a bit more, the extra bit around the edges on this one is a bit distracting and the sky is a bit washed out. 8 May 2008 12:13am @Chris: I liked yesterday's shot better, also. But I thought I should show what the area looked like. That was actually the color of the sky that day, it was very misty and everything was gray. You could hardly see across the water. @Michael Rawluk: Thank you, Michael. drphoto from Newcastle upon Tyne, United KingdomIt looks like a very well kept woodland in any case, very picturesqe. I love the greens - despite what I did to yesterdays shot! Dan 12 May 2008 1:53am |
