@Judy: Thank you, Judy.
Oooooh Betty ... this approaches perfection (for me) ... the depth and detail and clarity are exquisite! All my life I've been rather partial to the color red (part of Cardinal nation, you know), but I have to say that that delicious shade of mid-green that lies deep within this beautiful lily is fast becoming a color that always just grabs my attention. Really beautiful!

@Michael Rawluk: Thank you! This series was so much fun!
Well done, but I prefer yesterday's shot because the rose in this one let's the viewer know you are photographing a floral arrangement rather than a garden. That's just my personal bias: as beautiful as flower shop creations are, Mother Nature surpasses them without the aid of a human hand. (Okay, now you're going to tell me you snapped this in your garden, right?!?)

@Wizened Eye: No... I actually placed the vase with the bouquet on a table in front of a window in the early morning sunlight! Set up the tripod and just kept turning the vase and shooting. Was a lot of fun!
I like the sharp focus you've achieved on this one Betty.

@Mandy: Mandy, thank you so much!
This is gorgeous. I love how the anthers and pistil are in sharp focus, but the stamen and petals are slightly out of focus. It gives a nice, soft quality to the image.
