The Korean War Memorial in Washington DC.

@Chris: It was very moving... the statues' expressions, it impacted me more than any other memorial there.

Like Chris, we haven't been there yet, but from all accounts it's very moving.
Mike was in the Navy during the Korean Conflict - stationed in the Atlantic - doesn't consider himself a Korean Veteran, but he signed on the dotted like as did they all.

@Judy: But, Mike is a Korean veteran! And it's men like him we think of today. My father was in the Infrantry in WWII, injured three times. He just started talking about the war lately (he's going to be 89 in July), could never talk about it before now. I listen to him and think of those men...

It fills one with such sadness to look at this beautiful memorial. We watched the program on PBS last night where they were honoring all the veteran and they showed us the three Memorials. Very touching and a beautiful capture.
