This millipede was crossing my lawn. It was rather large!

@Judy: If they serve a purpose, I'm not sure what it is! :-) But they are interesting to look at, but not when thousands of them are on the move and everywhere!

Betty this is an excellent capture. They kind of give me the heeby jeebies though. They move so fast. I guess we need them in our gardens though ??

@Observing: Usually, when they are much smaller, they can congregate by the thousands. Then they get in the house and everywhere!

@Daroru: I never heard of this type biting, usually you just see them travelling wherever it is they are going!
