Desparado from Despo Ville, Indiacute shot! luve d way he has raised his leg..as if for a dance move:) 5 Jul 2008 6:29am @Desparado: Thanks! @Saeed: Thank you. @eddy: Thank you. Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesHow precious, Betty ... you've captured a shot at just the right moment! I understand they can be pretty aggressive in eating plants around homes, but they are beautiful creatures ... and the truth is, they were here first! 5 Jul 2008 11:08am @Ron: They are very aggressive eating plants around homes, last year I lost my day lily and all my hostas! This year, so far, they have found other things to eat! This one was by itself without the other twin or its mother, they must have been in the woods. Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaBeautiful, deers know where it is safe to venture, obviously, great photo Betty ;) 5 Jul 2008 11:24am @Lorraine: Thanks, Lorraine! Apparently a lot of wildlife think it's safe to venture in our neighborhood this year... we have just about everything... a "plethora" of wildlife, as a joke with my daughter every day! @Cheryl: Thank you, Cheryl. MJ from Delaware, United StatesOh Betty so cute.... you captured the expressiona dn the spots so well...... 5 Jul 2008 1:08pm @MJ: Thanks, MJ! @Craig: Thank you, Craig! @shahab: Thank you. Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesWOW..........great shot, Betty. You're out 'shooting' a beautiful deer and I was trying (unsuccessfully) to capture a shot of our old, large gopher tortoise. Every time he sees you take a step closer, he just pulls into his shell, but I can see his movement right out the office window. Photos taken from inside are through a window, across the 12' porch then through the screening. <pout> 5 Jul 2008 1:57pm @Judy: Ahh, but I was home at the time and my daughter spotted it... so I could sneak outside and tiptoe across my yard, shielded by a tree, to get closer! Will we see the gopher tortoise? @Kathe: Thanks. John Maslowski from Dallas,PA, United StatesExcellent shot of the elusive animal. Beautiful composition. 5 Jul 2008 2:15pm @John Maslowski: Thank you, John. @Alun Lambert: Thank you, Alun. @Scotfot: Thank you. @saman: Thank you. Bill Ault from GBA, CanadaNicely done - we had a young buck at one time that would stop by on a regular basis ofr a feeding of dog food. 5 Jul 2008 8:17pm @Bill Ault: That would be so cool... feeding a young buck!
