Warren County Farmers' Fair

The Balloon Fest at the Fair. Each evening, weather permitting, there is a balloon launch. Last night, MJ and I were there for the launch. This is the first time I saw it from the ground, twice I was lucky enough to take off in a balloon! I thought I would highlight the elephant balloon, it is a crowd favorite!

Nice capture Betty, this one has a funny look. Hot-air balloon are always photogenic & coloful subject in the sky but at ground level also.

Good action shot Betty, and a lovely elephant balloon. I went up in one once, it was a ladybird design, their great things, but landing seemed a bit hit or miss to me.....but very exciting.

Lucky you to have gone up twice; our flight in Albuquerque was canceled because the ceiling was to low to pass FAA regulations. ;(

Forgive me Betty - but I have to laugh. This is the second time I've looked at this and it seems to me that the blue shirted individual looks to be blowing this balloon up by blowing into it - and being cheered on by the other. Nice shot.
