Beautiful scenery. I guess it'll still be some time before boats are arriving there again... :)

Another wonderful winter scene.
Have you ever gone when they were doing bird counts? This came from the Merrill Creek site:
"The end of the day (likely the last day of the watch) [Nov '08] serendipitously gave us great memories which should hold us till next September. After a very slow day a close Goshawk came through at 2:45 and the day ended as a well-scoped Golden Eagle lazily made its way from the North (where Ed Bullock first spotted it at 3:05) flapping and gliding its way across past us and disappearing to the Southwest at 3:15. What odds-defying magic! What a Blessing!"

@Judy: Yes, I have been there when they are doing bird counts! They are very nice and tell you what's there or has been there! My daughter and I were just there for a walk this morning... thousands of snow geese, Canadian geese, saw the eagle's nest, a downy woodpecker and a deer. It was great! Beautiful day for a walk! Hopefully got some good photos, also.
One word -- COLD! Quite a contrast from your previous postings of this location.

Nice composition, Betty. I like how the shape of the dock mimmics the shape of the land.
